This project is truly special for me—it was my very first custom order! My client, Becky, asked if I could create the entire Fellowship of the Ring as adorable table toppers for a baby shower. Since the mother-to-be is a huge LOTR fan (and so am I!), I don't like to pick favorites, but this one is definitely at the top of my list.
This meant all nine members brought to life as tiny, soft figures—from Frodo and his curly Hobbit hair to the long, flowing locks of Legolas and Gandalf’s iconic beard. It was a blast to work on! I got to dive deep into character details, making sure Gimli had his axe, Aragorn his sword, and Boromir his Horn of Gondor. Each figure is full of texture and character, capturing the cozy spirit of the Shire and the adventure of Middle-earth. These pieces prove that your favorite pop culture characters can live happily ever after as beautiful, felted art.
