Shipping Policy for Cozy Knits & Felted Bits
Hey there, fellow handmade enthusiast! I know you're excited to receive your unique treasures from Cozy Knits & Felted Bits, and I'm just as excited to get them to you. This policy outlines everything you need to know about how I lovingly package and ship your orders.
1. Order Processing Time
Since every item from Cozy Knits & Felted Bits is handmade with care, there's a little bit of magic that happens before it ships!

Ready-to-Ship Items: For items already made, please allow 3-5 business days for your order to be processed and prepared for shipment.

Made-to-Order & Custom Items: For items that are made specifically for your order (like certain batch items), estimated processing times will be specified on the individual product page. For custom orders initiated directly via email, processing times will be discussed and finalized with you during that direct communication.

Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays.
2. Shipping Methods & Carriers (Domestic - United States)
For all domestic orders within the United States, I offer various shipping tiers to best suit your needs. I typically ship via USPS (United States Postal Service).
3. Shipping Costs & Tiers (Domestic - United States)
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order's total value or weight, as follows:
Economy Shipping (5 to 8 business days):

Free: For orders $100.00 and up.

$4.90: For orders weighing 0lb–5lb.

$19.90: For orders weighing 5lb–70lb.
Standard Shipping (3 to 4 business days):

$6.90: For orders weighing 0lb–1lb.

$9.90: For orders weighing 1lb–5lb.
You will see the exact shipping cost for your order during the checkout process before you finalize your purchase.
4. Estimated Delivery Times (Domestic - United States)
Please note that delivery times are estimates provided by the carrier once your package has left my studio.

Economy Shipping: Typically takes 5 to 8 business days for domestic orders after processing.

Standard Shipping: Typically takes 3 to 4 business days for domestic orders after processing.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email that includes a tracking number. You can use this number to monitor the progress of your package directly on the carrier's website.
6. International & Non-Continental US Shipping
Currently, Cozy Knits & Felted Bits ships only to the continental United States. If you live outside this region (e.g., Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories) or are an international customer interested in a purchase, please contact me directly at hello@cozyknitsandfeltedbits.com to discuss shipping possibilities and rates before placing an order.
7. Incorrect Address / Undeliverable Packages
It's super important to double-check your shipping address at checkout!

If a package is returned to me due to an incorrect or undeliverable address provided by the customer, or if it's unclaimed, the customer will be responsible for any re-shipment costs.

Refunds will not be issued for original shipping costs in these situations.
8. Lost or Damaged Packages
While I package every item with extreme care, sometimes things happen outside of my control once a package leaves my hands.

Damaged Upon Arrival: If your order arrives damaged, please contact me immediately at hello@cozyknitsandfeltedbits.com. Please include photos of the damaged item(s) and the packaging so I can assess the issue and help resolve it.

Lost in Transit: If your tracking information shows that your package is lost, please contact the shipping carrier first. If the issue cannot be resolved with the carrier, please reach out to me, and I'll do my best to assist. Please note that Cozy Knits & Felted Bits is not responsible for packages that are marked as "delivered" by the carrier but are then lost or stolen.
